Do I need to provide anything?

We provide tables, chairs and all of the face painting equipment. All you need is a camera to record your work and start up a portfolio, a note pad and pen and, if you are the only person on the course, a model to practise on.

Do you do one-to-one tuition?

Yes, we can offer exclusive one-to-one tuition, but you would have to bring someone with you to be your model.

Where are the courses held?

The courses are generally held at our home in Richmond, North Yorkshire, but in special circumstances, for example if you do not drive, Hazel can come to you, with her travel costs added onto the course fee.

Do I get a certificate at the end?

Yes, upon completion, you will recieve a certificate to show that you have attended a professional training course.

How long is the course?

We run three different courses: the foundation course lasts one day and covers the very basic skills needed. The professional course is a two-day course and equips you with indepth knowledge about techniques, equipment, health and safety, hygiene, and the world of face painting. The advanced course lasts for one day, and it is required that you have experience in face painting professionally.

How many people can you have in a class?

If the course is for a company, for example, and we come to your premises, we can have up to 20 people in the class at a time. The maximum number of people we can take on a course at our home in Richmond is 4.
