Jolly Good Productions offers a choice of great ideas for fund raising events, each of which we have run successfully many times. We are happy to offer advice to ensure you make as much money as possible for your charity.
RACE NIGHT
Video horse racing nights are one of the best ways to raise funds. They are easy to organise they are effective and fun. You can make between £300 and £1000 on an average night. We provide full information and advice on how to organise your event.
LINE DANCING
Line Dancing is good fun at a community style event. If you have a village hall or community centre and want to have an evenings entertainment and bring in some extra cash too then this is worth considering. We have also run line dancing events at golf clubs, rugby cubs and social clubs too. Contact Hazel to discuss how this might work for your organisation.
BALLOON RELEASE
A charity balloon release is also a good way to make money. It’s relatively easy to set up and you don’t need CAA approval unless you are releasing 5000 balloons or more. We can advise you on everything you need to do.

Fun Casinos can be an excellent & fun way to raise money for your chosen charity.
Ways to raise funds.
Ticket sales for the event which may include a meal, music or both.If enough tickets are sold this will cover the hire cost of the tables.
Any budding croupiers out there?
If any of the organisers or their friends fancy being a croupier for the night, the hire cost of the tables can normally be reduced & it can be a more personal event as your croupiers may know the guests.
Selling Fun Money on the night of the event for donations to the charity.
Some events include some fun money in with the ticket price & then you buy more, other events all fun money is bought for a donation towards the charity. For example: £5 donation for £5,000 of Fun Money, which will get them 5 chips at the table, or £10 donation for 10 chips.
If a 100 people buy an average of 10 chips that generates £1,000.00
Sponsors
If any company or locals would like to sponsor a table this may either pay for the hire of that table or donate a prize for the winner of that table or the overall winner of the night.
Prizes
If no sponsors are forthcoming a bottle of fizz can be enough of a prize to encourage people to have a go.
