Questions people ask about booking Temporary Tattoos

Scan the headings below to see if your question is here.

How far do you travel?

We are based in North Yorkshire but travel nationwide. N.B. Depending on your location travel costs may apply.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are all members of Equity and each have £10million Public Liability Insurance.

Do you have a Risk Assessment?

Yes, we have a risk assessment for Temporary Tattoos and would be happy to send a copy if required.

Do you come and take money?

We only work at events for a set fee. The client can charge the public if they wish. We prefer not to handle cash whilst working and recommend a ticket system is used or that the client puts someone on to take payment.

Do we need to provide anything?

A bright, well lit area is essential for this type of work. If the Temporary Tattoos are to be set up in a dark room the client must provide powerful lighting in the immediate area that the Tattooists are working. At outdoor events, a gazebo with 3 sides or a tent with sides must be provided by the organisers, to give shelter from the elements ie sun, wind and rain.

Does your fee include travel?

Yes, the quote that we give you includes our fee and our travel expenses.

What happens if the event is cancelled?

If the event is cancelled there may be a cancellation fee, subject to our terms and conditions.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The organisers must ensure that the Temporary Tattoos is set up undercover with protection from the elements (including wind). Temporary Tattoos can be affected by wind, rain, cold temperatures and hot sunshine. In windy conditions transfers, sponges, glitters, brushes etc can blow away. In hot weather there is a risk of the Tattooist getting burnt or sunstroke. Also the alcohol used in the application of the transfers will dry up and they become very difficult to apply. In winter during cold temperatures having Temporary Tattoos outside should be avoided.

Are your paints safe/approved?

Yes, we only used approved materials.
