More than simply handing out balloons
Ron and Hazel are both experienced balloon modellers. Part of the fun is watching a handful of long balloons being twisted, folded and tied into something recognisable — sometimes in a matter of moments.
They interact with the people waiting, chat while they work and turn the making of each model into a little piece of entertainment in its own right.
What can we make?
Balloon modelling can range from quick single-balloon designs to larger creations using several balloons. Depending on the event, requests might include:

Not just for children
Balloon modelling is particularly popular at family events, but adults often join in too. It can work well at weddings, student events, corporate functions and evening parties where colourful or deliberately outrageous hats and models quickly become conversation pieces.

Instead of simply watching us make the balloons, older children, teenagers and adults can have a go themselves. A workshop introduces inflation, tying and the basic twists before participants create their own models to take away.
Balloon modelling is surprisingly challenging, which is part of the fun. Workshops can work as a stand-alone activity or as one element of a larger event programme.
For younger children: adult help is normally needed with inflation and knot tying. Babies and toddlers must be closely supervised around balloons and balloon fragments.

Balloon decorating
Ron and Hazel are qualified balloon decorators and both completed the Qualatex CBA (Certified Balloon Artist) programme. Their training covered professional balloon design and decorating techniques.
They have provided balloon decorations including arches, columns, garlands and displays for parties, openings, promotions and special occasions.

Can balloon modelling be booked on its own?
Yes. It can be the main entertainment or form part of a larger programme with other Jolly Good Productions services.
Is balloon modelling only for children?
No. Adults often enjoy it too, particularly at weddings, student events, parties and informal corporate occasions.
How complicated are the models?
That depends on the size and pace of the event. At a busy family day, quicker designs keep the queue moving. At smaller events there may be time for more elaborate multi-balloon creations.
Do you offer balloon modelling workshops?
