Birds of Prey are a popular attraction at events these days. As I travel around the country performing at events of all kinds I see displays of these magnificent creatures. In some cases there are just static displays and at others there are flying displays too. The keepers are always very knowledgeable and on hand to answer questions therefore adding an educational dimension to the show. Sometimes members of the public are invited to handle the birds wearing special protective gloves. The Cutest Thing You've Ever Seen!

This was a photo opportunity not to be missed. I’m sure you will agree this little chic is so cute! Don’t know what type of bird this is. Can anyone tell me?

Setting the mood for a party or event is very important. In a previous article I wrote about how to make the entrance eye catching with a balloon arch. Another great idea is to position “meet and greet” performers at the entrance to welcome guests as they arrive. A stilt walker is ideal for this purpose. Being high up means that they are easily seen and guests are amused and will often interact with them on the way in. Having a stilt walker with “personality” who can generate some friendly banter and puts people in the party spirit right from the start. A stilt walker provides memorable photo opportunities and is a good ice breaker, catalyst for conversation.
